From the moment we landed in Cusco, the Machu Picchu Explorers team took care of everything. Our guide on the Classic Inca Trail Trek was knowledgeable, patient, and made sure everyone in our group felt safe on the tougher climbs. Watching the sunrise over Machu Picchu after four days of hiking was a moment I'll never forget. Highly professional, well-organized, and genuinely warm people.
I did the Salkantay Trek with Machu Picchu Explorers and couldn't have asked for better guides, equipment, or food along the trail. Everything was well-planned, from permits to train tickets back from Aguas Calientes. If you want a company that genuinely cares about responsible tourism and treats you like family, this is it.
We booked the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu Full Day tour, and it exceeded every expectation. Our driver and guide were punctual, friendly, and full of local history and stories that you just can't get from a guidebook. We also loved learning about the Ccaccaccollo Women's Weavers community. It added a meaningful, authentic layer to the trip that felt different from a typical tourist tour.
